I took CBD oil for 30 days and that’s what happened to me

After two years of the Corona plague we are all “on the edge”: financial difficulties, concern for my health and the health of my relatives, threatening news reports, all of which have caused me severe anxiety attacks. I came across a variety of tips on how to treat anxiety (including anti-anxiety medications), but when I heard about CBD oil as a natural way to treat anxiety and stop seizures, I decided to do some research on CBD.

What is CBD oil?

Most prejudices and the negative attitude towards cannabis, come due to the subconscious component – THC, which causes a feeling of “high” (gets you high).

The CBD (cannabidiol) component, which constitutes 40 percent of the cannabis plant in contrast, does not change consciousness, is not addictive and has many medicinal properties, including soothing anxiety, pain relief and treating inflammation. These properties have been proven in a number of studies from recent decades. I am not a cannabis consumer, but I have decided that I want to know more about the CBD component in more depth.

Why did I decide to start consuming CBD?

For years I suffered from anxiety that accompanied my life. Panic attacks paralyzed me and drained me of all energy. I used to congregate within myself for long hours. In my 20s, I consumed alcohol regularly, when I decided to stop drinking, the anxiety attacks diminished, but still the anxiety accompanied my life and I was constantly afraid of the next anxiety attack. As a preventative measure, I started practicing meditation and taking natural remedies, but still did not feel the anxiety behind me.

Recently, I heard from friends about CBD oil, but as someone who has consumed alcohol in the past, I was afraid it would hurt my detox. The more I researched CBD, the more I learned that my fears of addiction were unnecessary. CBD is neither “gets you high” nor addictive. I decided to put CBD oil in my life routine for 30 days.

What are the benefits of CBD oil?

CBD has been shown to have therapeutic properties.

The World Health Organization has determined that it is effective in treating 17 diseases and medical problems, including:

  • Anxiety and depression
  • Pains
  • Arthritis
  • Insomnia
  • Eating Disorders
  • Cancer

How has CBD oil affected me?

Happily I do not suffer from arthritis and eating disorders, but anxiety and insomnia (resulting from anxiety) as well as acne scars on the skin definitely bother me. I started taking 2 drops of CBD oil under the tongue every day, for 30 days. Within two weeks I felt a change:

I sleep like a log:

On 90 percent of the nights I fall asleep within 30 minutes of getting into bed. Still occasionally, I turn from side to side restlessly, but this rarely happens and I usually fall asleep easily. My sleep quality has also improved, I wake up naturally at 7 in the morning, feeling refreshed and I feel much more focused and energetic during the day.

Feeling relief from menstrual cramps:

18 months ago, after encountering quite a few warnings about the harms of female contraception, I decided to stop with them.

On the one hand I felt liberated, as if I had regained my body, but on the other hand the pain of menstruation killed me. Every month I had a regular ritual – hot water bottles, painkillers, eating chocolate, all to soothe uterine cramps that cause severe pain and general fatigue. One month after taking CBD oil the pains and menstrual cramps subsided. I felt an improvement during this time of the month. However I feel I need a few more weeks of taking CBD oil to be sure that the relief I feel, is indeed thanks to CBD.

I manage the anxiety:

Unfortunately the anxiety has not completely disappeared from my life. Still running an independent business, buying an apartment and staying sane during a global epidemic is challenging, but today my anxiety is manageable. 2 drops under the tongue, a few deep breaths and I feel I am in control and could function calmly. Anxiety no longer controls me.

My facial skin looks fresh:

For more than a decade I have been suffering from skin blemishes on my chin and acne scars on my facial skin. The more I get to know my body, the more I understand – wounds and blemishes on the skin are a manifestation of hormonal imbalance. Since I started taking CBD my facial skin condition has improved significantly.

Indeed I did not apply CBD oil on the facial skin, but I consumed it by swallowing and it still seems to work quite well. The skin is light and fresh. The spots and wounds have diminished. (The only thing that sucks to me is the fortune I spent for years on creams and ointments that didn’t really help).

Does taking CBD cause side effects?

I personally have not had any side effects as a result of taking CBD. According to the World Health Organization, CBD is safe to use and its side effects are negligible and uncommon, however rarely can mild side effects be caused as a result of taking CBD such as: diarrhea, fatigue, appetite disorders and weight changes. These symptoms usually go away quickly, but you should consult a doctor if you experience them, after consuming CBD.

Should you also try CBD oil?

Yes Yes Yes ! My good experience with CBD oil makes me want to shout to anyone who suffers from anxiety, insomnia, skin sores, menstrual cramps and more – try CBD, you have nothing to lose.

But it is important to note a few things that will keep you from unnecessary hassle:

Purchase CBD oil from a reputable company:

The CBD industry is saturated with dubious companies that sell counterfeit oils or those that have not undergone rigorous laboratory testing. Be sure to purchase CBD oil from a reputable company that conducts third-party lab tests and transparently publishes the oil components. I bought from canabd, and I am very satisfied.

Take CBD oil before bed:

It is best to take the oil before bed. This will help you fall asleep easily and enter a state of relaxation faster.

Avoid CBD in Evaporation:

There are several ways to consume CBD oil, one of which is evaporation. Although evaporation is not as harmful to health as smoking, it still harms the airways. The fastest, easiest and healthiest way to consume CBD is through CBD oil ,drip under the tongue (this is also the way the substance is best absorbed into the bloodstream). If you are into flavors, there are CBD oils in a variety of flavors (if you ask me – go for the orange flavor :)).
